A selection of Zappa's stuff that I enjoy a lot. It's mainly from a very very very small handful of albums. (Two albums, specifically.) All of these either have nostalgic value, or just get stuck in my head from time to time.

Zappa was a very odd person.

Infinite thanks to my old friend Dan Zipkin for introducing me to Zappa's stuff, and to Chris Pallace for introducing me to other Zappa stuff in college.

1 "Return Of The Son Of Monster Magnet (excerpt)" - Frank Zappa and the Mothers Of Invention [Freak Out!] [1966]
I accidently started this track when I was trying to record the next one to a tape once, and liked it as an intro to it, so here is just the intro. 20 seconds of a 10+ minute track. hehe.
2 "Help I'm A Rock!" - Frank Zappa and the Mothers Of Invention [Freak Out!] [1966]
So many good parts in it. Everyone who listens has their own favorite. I REMEMBER DOOT-DOOT... THEY HAD A SWIMMING POOL!
3 "Be In My Video" - Frank Zappa [Them Or Us] [1984]
Chris and Tina used this on a mix CD and since then, it pops into my head. Zappa made some catchy stuff.
4 "Truck Driver Divorce" - Frank Zappa [Them Or Us] [1984]
It's very sad.
5 "You're Probably Wondering Why I'm Here" - Frank Zappa and the Mothers Of Invention [Freak Out!] [1966]
And so am I
6 "Ya Honza" - Frank Zappa [Them Or Us] [1984]
Best. Lyrics. Ever.
7 "Who Are The Brain Police" - Frank Zappa and the Mothers Of Invention [Freak Out!] [1966]
Instantly think of being 12 again, hanging out with Dan when listening to this.
8 "In France" - Frank Zappa [Them Or Us] [1984]
No one ever said Frank was PC
