Where would music be without the sampler? I found a few groups of songs that borrow sounds from eachother, and threw them in here...

The "Do" from "Leave It" is in "Close to the edit". The "Hey!" from "Close to the edit is in "Firestarter".

"Stupid Girl" borrows its rhythm loop from "Train in Vain", and a guitar-percussion thing from the beginning of "Orange Crush".

"Going Out Of My Head" is mainly based on a short sample from "I Can't Explain", which is used in a break at the end of "Contact" as well.

Coldcut used some of Ofra Haza's track in his remix of "Paid In Full"... a song that was pretty much completely lifted for "Pump Up The Volume".

And of course, Mick Jones stole much of his own tune from his Clash days to make "The Globe". The best way to make an instantly popular song is to take an already popular song and sample the hell out of it.

Apologies that this episode is Clash/BAD heavy. heh.
