This podcast contains songs from my "Yum" playlist. They are songs that either have some sort of backstory to them, or just have some nostalgic meaning to me.

1 "Opus 4" - Art Of Noise [In Visible Silence]
Gary Coulbourne got me really into AON back in college. This has always been a favorite track.
2 "Always Something There To Remind Me" - Naked Eyes
When I was little, I used to walk around with a cassette recorder and record little shows and such. Somewhere, on the first tape of all of that, I turned on the radio, and this song came on. A few years later, I was doing more of the same, and this song came on again. At various other key points in my life, this song continued to re-appear for me.
3 "Union Of The Snake" - Duran Duran [Seven And The Ragged Tiger]
I always loved the video for this song. Something about it... this strange world underneath our own world. My memories of the video are MUCH better than the actual video.
4 "Live To Tell" - Madonna
This one reminds me more of a feeling than of a specific event. I'm sure you get the same feeling from it.
5 "All Through The Night" - Cyndi Lauper
Same with this one.
6 "These Dreams" - Heart
In 1986ish, we got our first real home computer, an Amiga 1000. I spent an evening later that week playing with Deluxe Paint, and created a little drawing, while my parents went out for dinner. We didn't have any extra floppies to save the picture to, so I had to leave the computer on to show it to them when they got home.
7 "Eye In The Sky" - Alan Parsons Project
Like the above, this one just reminds me of a feeling.
8 "Right Down The Line" - Gerry Rafferty
We used to go camping, and I think this song was popular on the radio one of the times we went. I seem to remember one of our trips to Florida, pulling our camper.
9 "I Can Dream About You" - Dan Hartman
At one point, I went with a group from my Hebrew School to "Adventureland", in Farmingdale, NY. (I think.) I remember this song being played when we were there.
10 "Break My Stride" - Matthew Wilder
No real solid memories about this song. I remember hanging out with my cousin Bobby, when this song was popular, but not much more than that. I had the 45, which had the instrumental on the b-side. hehe.
11 "If I Didn't Love You" - Squeeze
I got "Argy Bargy" on cassette from my sister, Robin... who I think got it from my brother, Barry... I don't remember exactly.. But the tape I got from them was transferred from a vinyl record. It had a skip in the recording right at the lyric "The record jumps on a scratch". heh.
12 "Head Over Heels" - The Go-Go's
One of the first things I tried to record onto my Amiga was the intro to this, which sounded really damn good... especially for 22khz, 8bit. I never did understand how it sounded as good as it did.
13 "Eternal Flame" - The Bangles
No real reason to this one, I just like the song a lot.
14 "Burn For You" - INXS [The Swing]
I always liked this song, and it sounded like it'd be a good ending song.
